Hi, my name is Jasmin. I got diagnosed with vaginismus earlier this year, which came as a devastation to me and my husband. I wasnt given much advice, just thrown an NHS information page and sent on my way.

So i have had to do the research on my own.

Its a painful condition that makes intimacy difficult, and isnt an easy fix as it is not just physical and not just mental - its a combination of the two.

Not only is it painful, but as it is rarely spoken about, i have felt isolated, ashamed, and guilty for my body not working the way it is 'supposed to'.

I applied for therapy on the NHS, but the waiting list is so long that they cant even give me a time scale. It could be years, and as a newlywed, its not an ideal situation.

So i have been looking for private therapy, but as a christian, i heard a few testimonies that secular therapy often offers advice which counteracts my faith, and have heard a fair few stories of people spending years jumping from therapist to therapist.

Thats when i came across a program called 'Pain free intimacy' on instagram. Its an entire program with a christian focus that is more than just therapy. It combines physical elements, mental reshaping and partner support, and importantly a spiritual support.

I feel strongly that this program would be suited for me to help heal me of vaginismus, but the fee is unaffordable, as i am on low income due to disabilities.

Thats why i am asking for your help.

I have suffered with crippling anxiety my entire life, and vaginismus is another form of that. But this time it doesnt just affect me, but my husband too.

I trust that God will provide a way, but i am also aware that we must take action as well!
