Jasmin is my sister, and we’ve always been side by side through life’s ups and downs. She’s a devoted single mother to her daughter, who has a neurological delay, and she’s done everything she can to provide a loving, stable home. Lately, things have become even more challenging. Jasmin’s cancer has returned for a second time, and this time, it’s more aggressive. An MRI has shown that the cancer has already spread, but we still don’t know the stage or what comes next. The only way to find out is through a special procedure that her insurance won’t cover.

Every day is a struggle for Jasmin and her daughter. There are days when Jasmin doesn’t have the strength to get out of bed, and her daughter has had to do home schooling because of the many hospital visits and Jasmin’s health. Despite all of this, Jasmin continues to fight for her daughter and tries to keep life as normal as possible. Our family’s backs are against the wall, and we’re reaching out for help because we want Jasmin to have the chance to be there for her daughter for many years to come.
