Hi all, my name is Jasmin Balbuena. For those of you who do not know already, back on October 24th, 2022 I was diagnosed with Stage 1 HER2+ Breast Cancer. It has been far along in my journey where I have finished chemotherapy, had two surgeries, and I am now in the process of going through radiation treatment.

Having a cancer diagnosis, especially for being the age of 26 was unbelievably difficult to say the least, but i’ve done nothing my best to get by and live my life. Also meaning I’ve still worked through my whole cancer journey at my in person job at a cafe/bakery and barely took time off work just to keep up financially. But with some of the time that i was able to have off, it still set me back a bit.

I am creating this gofundme to help me cover my medical expenses that weren’t covered by insurance, as well as other donations to help me and mom through this still tough time. Of course it’s been extremely tough on me, but it also has been equally, if not tougher on my mom, and i just want to lift some weight off of her shoulders financially as well.
