Hello, my name is Jasm. I’m 29 years old, a husband, a father, and someone who has always put my family first. I’ve worked tirelessly every day, providing for my wife and almost 4-year-old daughter. But now, I’m in a fight I never imagined – a fight for my life, and for the future of my family.
I’ve been diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Cancer. And it’s taken over every part of my life. The pain, the constant exhaustion from chemotherapy, the fear... it’s indescribable. But what hurts most isn’t the physical toll. It’s the thought of not being there for my daughter as she grows up, and not being able to continue taking care of my family.
Every Friday, I undergo chemotherapy. It’s grueling, and every week, I wonder how much more I can take. Despite this, I still try to work to provide for my family, to keep the bills paid, to keep food on the table, and to cover the mounting medical costs that insurance doesn’t cover. Here in the Philippines, there’s little government support for people like me. I don’t have the luxury of financial aid, and insurance refuses to cover the expensive treatments that I desperately need.
I’ve always been the one people could rely on – my wife, my daughter, my friends. But now, I need your help. I’m reaching out, in a moment of vulnerability, to ask for support. My medical bills are overwhelming, and they are only going to get worse. My treatment alone costs more than I can afford, and I’m afraid of what will happen if I can’t continue.
I don’t want to leave my family struggling. I don’t want my daughter to grow up without her father, without me being there to guide her and love her. I’m fighting with everything I have, but I need help to keep going. Every donation, no matter how small, will help me continue this fight – for my family, for my daughter, for my life.
Please, if you can, help me cover the cost of my treatments, the medications, the doctor visits. Help me keep fighting. I am doing everything I can to stay strong, but I can’t do it alone.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
