Hello!

My name is Jascha Maeshiro. I am a Musical Studies student at Oberlin College. I've gone no-contact with my parents for my own safety, and I've been financially independent since 2024. Obviously, this is a very precarious financial situation to be in. Not only do I balance a full load of courses, but also working as much as I can so I can afford my education as well as the usual costs that come with life.

Oberlin has truly become home for me, and I am so grateful for the support from my community and found family here. I am an active member of OSCA, and as pictured I love head cooking for Third World Co-op. Outside of school, I am involved in the larger Oberlin community, working for a restaurant in downtown Oberlin and volunteering with Oberlin Community Services.

Oberlin College & Conservatory has challenged me intellectually and personally, and truly helped me grow as a person. With your support, I can continue my studies and earn my bachelor's degree.
