On June 2nd, 2025, Jarrod’s life changed in an instant.

While working on a roof, Jarrod suffered a catastrophic fall that resulted in multiple injuries — the most serious being the loss of feeling in his legs. He was airlifted from the job site in Singleton to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he underwent a complex six-hour surgery. Despite the incredible efforts of his medical team, Jarrod now faces a long journey towards recovery.

This life-altering injury has dramatically affected his mobility and independence, yet is determined to still provide for his young family. The road ahead will be filled with challenges — will involve rehabilitation and getting his independence back.

Jarrod isn’t facing this alone. By his side are Gemma, his loving partner, and their beautiful baby boy, Arti.
