Help Jarrett Overcome His Nuerological Disorder
Donation protected
Up until June of 2024 Jarrett was an active, fun loving, 12 year old kid. He loved everything hockey, and anything sports. In June of 2024 Jarrett started experiencing full body tics. Something that stopped him in his tracks. These episodes make it impossible for Jarrett to do the things he loves. Through multiple doctors visits Jarrett was eventually diagnosed with a nuerological disorder by a neurologist at U of M. Jarrett made it through the summer and started his 7th grade year. School started out rough and he continued to battle attending school and completing daily tasks. Jarrett was then perscribed medication that seemed to work miracles and for months his disorder was manageable.
In January of 2025 things took a turn for the worst. The medication that had been such a life saver stopped working and Jarrett's episodes came back with a vengeance, resulting with a 6 day hospital stay at U of M. The specialists at U of M tried their best to treat him and understand why his body was doing this. After getting out of the hospital Jarrett is worse than before. Jarrett still struggles with attending school, and doing every day things.
In January of 2025 Jarrett's nuerologist recommended a 5 day outpatient program that has a 90% success rate for treating Jarrett's condition. This program gives us hope that recovery is possible. The only problem is the program does not accept our insurance. The program cost $6500 and is an hour and a half from home. We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of the program to help treat and heal Jarrett from this horrible diagnosis that has taken over his life.
If Jarrett is not accepted into this program the money raised from this campaign will cover costs for medical care at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Thank you so much for all your prayers, kind words, and support.
