Dearest family and friends and our beloved Lakewood and Littleton communities:

I'm creating this GoFundMe for my son Jared Taha, who was in a severe car accident while on is way to work on Tuesday June 1st.  While Jared was driving his breaks failed, instead of hitting the car  in front of him and injuring someone Jared avoided the car and hit a pole at 40 miles an hour totaling his truck. 

Jared suffered multiple injuries which required him to undergo a 6 hour surgery for a  broken hip, femur, nose and a traumatic head injury, he is still in the hospital recovering. Due to the severity of Jared's injuries he will be unable to work for quite awhile and as you may already know Jared is a family man and very involved in his church and community, he is also the sole provider for his family.

Jared is going to have a long recovery process per his surgeon this can take up to 6 months to a year for him to fully recover from his injuries.  Jared will have home health therapy to help him gain more mobility to his leg which is currently only at 50% weight-bearing.   Jared will have ongoing appointments with outpatient care -therapy etc. 

The goal of this fundraiser is to help Jared and Karen with rent, living expenses and medical bills incurred from this accident.   Our goal is to provide some sense of relief from the financial burden he will face and provide him love and support during his recovery. 

Jared is an active member of his community he is involved in his church, he is also an athlete - with the Mile High Eagles as a Line-backer/  Running back.   We have faith for a full recovery and for him to get back to what he loves  being a foreman with Star Playground and playing football with the Mile High Eagles and being with family and friends!

Estoy creando este GoFundMe para mi hijo Jared Taha, quien tuvo un accidente automovilístico severo.  Mientras se dirigía al trabajo el martes 1 de junio, Jared conducía y  sus frenos fallaron, en lugar de golpear el auto frente a él y herir a alguien, Jared evitó el auto y chocó contra un poste a 40 millas por hora totalizando su camioneta.

Jared sufrió múltiples lesiones que requirieron que se sometiera a una cirugía de 6 horas por una fractura de cadera, fémur, nariz y una lesión traumática en la cabeza, todavía se encuentra en el hospital recuperándose. Debido a la gravedad de las lesiones de Jared, no podrá trabajar durante bastante tiempo y, como ya sabrá, Jared es un hombre de familia y está muy involucrado en su iglesia y comunidad, también es el único proveedor de su familia.

Jared va a tener un largo proceso de recuperación según su cirujano, esto puede tomar de 6 meses a un año para que se recupere por completo de sus lesiones. Jared recibirá terapia de salud en el hogar para ayudarlo a ganar más movilidad en su pierna, que actualmente solo soporta un 50% de peso. Jared tendrá citas continuas con atención ambulatoria, terapia, etc.

El objetivo de esta recaudación de fondos es ayudar a Jared y Karen con el alquiler, los gastos de manutención y las facturas médicas ocasionadas por este accidente. Nuestro objetivo es brindarle una sensación de alivio de la carga financiera que enfrentará y brindarle amor y apoyo durante su recuperación.

Jared es un miembro activo de su comunidad, está involucrado en su iglesia, también es un atleta, con Mile High Eagles como line-backer / Running back. Tenemos fe para una recuperación completa y para que él vuelva a lo que le encanta como capataz de Star Playground, jugar al fútbol con los Mile High Eagles y estar con familiares y amigos.
