Help Jared in His Fight Against Colon Cancer

Hi, my name is Lina Carreiro O'Leary and on behalf of the SHS Class of 1987, I am fundraising to assist a classmates family member with his medical expenses. Deliela Melo Bettencourt's soon to be step-son, Jared is 22 years old and has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. This aggressive disease will require long-term treatment which has already begun with a chemotherapy regimen to see how the cancer responds. As with any cancer, only time will tell and Jared's family is exploring all options for treatment, not limited to trials which could take Jared out of the area. Jared is a hard working young man who has always put others first and has helped others in any way he can. Jared's response when told that a Go Fund Me was being done to help him, was "I only want to accept what I need. If there are funds above and beyond of what I need, I would like to donate it to organizations aimed at cancer research'. Please consider making a donation to help Jared in his fight!
