Help Jared get running water again !

Help my friend Jared get running water again!

I would like to ask for your help for my friend Jared. Jared is currently without running water due to the holding tank and pressure tank rupturing when he had power turned on to the house to move in. The house does not have municipal water – it is on a well. This past year has been exceptionally difficult with multiple health emergencies for Jared while supporting his mother through cancer treatment until her death.

Jared is a Type 1 diabetic with other health issues and has been stretching his disability as far as it will go, including exhausting what little emergency savings he had managed to set aside. Settling his mom’s affairs and arranging to move into this house has pushed him past his limits, both in terms of finances and the toll that the stress has taken on his health. In the past week, he was taken to the ER to be treated for pericarditis (swelling of the sac-like membrane around his heart), even in the midst of trying to move out of his apartment. Jared is an active member of the Norman, Oklahoma community – performing in the Medieval Fair annually and as a stage manager for the Norman Family Theater.

He continually tries to give of his time and friendship while struggling without a family support system. I’m hoping that each of us can give what we can and help him during this time. We are trying to raise $2300.00 to cover the costs of repair and replacement of the holding and pressure tanks as quoted by the plumbing service!
