Help Jared finalize his immigration process!

Jared and I met at the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas, in 2017, through a friend who was housing a singer, Yael Meyer, and her band. They came all the way from Chile! Jared, of course, was in the band.
I hate to be cliche, but it's true; it was love at first sight. I spent time with him and the rest of the group constantly until he traveled back, 24 hours later. When he left I cried, because I felt like that was my future best friend or husband flying away. He later told me that he was afraid to contact me once he got home, because he knew if he did, his life was going to change forever. Obviously he contacted me, hehe; we talked literally every day after. Then I went to visit him in Chile, he came back to visit me, we got engaged, then joyously got married in February of 2018.

Since then, this immigration process has been the most expensive and grueling waiting period I've ever gone through in my life, and it's not even technically me going through it! But...WE'RE ALMOST DONE.
I'm just asking for some help in the last steps of our process. Since July of this year, we've been helping take care of my 95 year-old Grandfather in Minnesota so he can stay in his own home, and in October we officially made the move from Dallas. It's been wonderful being up here, and Grandpa's been doing great, but I had to resign from teaching and have not yet found full time work (despite trying). Jared cannot work at all, because he is Grandpa's full time caretaker.
We got the letter a few days ago saying that our immigration interview appointment is on January 19th in Dallas. We could get the appointment rescheduled to an office here in MN, but our lawyer said it would significantly push back the timeline, and we've already been waiting for what feels like forever. She has been AMAZINGLY patient with us regarding payment, but we have to pay the rest of the fees ASAP, or she won't be able to finish our case and represent us. Jared also needs to get a required medical exam before the appointment, and we don't have insurance.

The requested amount of this Gofundme will cover the remainder of the lawyer fees, the medical exam fees, and travel expenses for our drive down to Texas.
Thanks SO MUCH for your support, and also to those family/friends who have been so supportive of Jared from the beginning. He deserves to become a US citizen. He will make this country proud, and we are excited about what this next step will mean for the future of our family.
