Support Jared and Jessica in Their Medical Emergency

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out to you on behalf of our dear friend/family member, Jared, who is facing a medical emergency. Jared was rushed to the hospital in pain where a CT scan confirmed he had diverticulitis that had formed an abscess and had begun to leak bacteria and infection into his abdomen. This abscess ended up bursting, filling his abdomen and diaphragm with fluid and bacteria, surrounding & infecting all of his major organs, leading to him almost going septic. The doctors preformed a very invasive, extensive abdominal surgery to clean the organs and repair his intestines but could only do so much, leaving him with further surgeries needing to be done over the next couple of months and a long, intensive recovery process.

Jared is such a helpful, kind, and hardworking man. He works so hard for his adorable family; the pride he has in being a father and the love he gives to Jessica and Ryder is admirable. Jared has a smile that can brighten anyone’s mood and always has the perfect little jokes or one-liners ready that will guarantee a chuckle. Over the years, Jessica and Jared have been a source of love, support, and inspiration to many of us, and now they need our help during this challenging time.

Due to this serious medical condition, Jared had to undergo an immediate emergency surgery, followed by other surgeries over the next couple of months. The recovery is a long and tough road ahead. Jared will have to be out of work for months and also limit most activities with his active 10-month-old Ryder. We are trying to raise funds to cover hospital fees, surgery, medication, and the recovery period while he is out of work. With your support, we can help Jared and Jessica focus on recovery rather than the financial burden.
