My name is Jareb, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing one of the toughest moments of my life. Two months ago, I lost my job unexpectedly. Since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to find new work, but despite my efforts, I’ve fallen behind on my rent and bills. Now, I’m at risk of being evicted and becoming homeless, which is something I never imagined I’d have to face.

On top of everything, I have a dog who means the world to me. The thought of having to rehome or surrender my best friend because of my situation is heartbreaking. I want nothing more than to keep us together and provide a safe home for both of us.

The funds raised here will go directly to paying the rent and bills I am currently behind on that’s forcing the potential eviction, as well as covering the next month. 

This support will give me the stability I need to keep a roof over our heads while I continue searching for a new job. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping me get back on my feet and avoid losing my home—and my dog.

I feel guilty for asking for more than I need, I actually feel guilty asking for anything at all to be honest, but this goal should get me over the hump safely, especially if getting a new job takes even longer than expected, but I may update the goal if unexpected needs arise during this time or it takes even longer than anticipated to find work. 

Whatever funds may be left over after covering my expenses once I am employed and stable again will be donated to St. Jude’s, as they are my favorite charity.
