Jaquese is truly the sweetest, most loving cat you could ever meet. We believe he’s around 7 or 8 years old, but we're not sure because the Sawdons found him years ago as a stray kitten when he literally jumped into their truck, almost like he chose them. From that moment on, it was clear he was meant to be part of their family. Jaquese gets along perfectly with the other cats and is a huge people lover. He’ll push open closed doors just to curl up next to someone at night because he never wants to be alone. He’s constantly looking for someone to cuddle up with, loves playing with his sister Chunks, and always finds the highest spot in the room so he can quietly watch over everyone.

Recently, Jaquese has been diagnosed with stage 3 gum disease, and most of his teeth are severely rotting. He’s in a lot of pain and now he struggles just to eat soft food. The vet has told us that he urgently needs dental surgery to remove most of his teeth. Without it, the infection could continue to spread and lead to even more serious complications. The only thing standing in the way is the cost, which is more than we can afford on our own.

We just want him to be okay again. To eat without pain and to go back to being the happy, loving cat he’s always been. Every dollar raised will go directly toward Jaquese’s surgery and getting him the care he desperately needs.
