My name is Shenaka, and I am a single mother raising my son, Jaquavious. For the past five years, I have been doing everything on my own, working hard to provide for him and give him the best opportunities possible. As Jaquavious prepares to start his college journey, I am reaching out for help because, honestly, it takes a village—and I have never had mine. This is not easy for me to ask, but I am at a point where I need support from our community to help my son achieve his dreams.
