Hey Everyone. My name is Jaquan Anderson and I am in need of assistance to help pay the remaining balance of my college tuition. I am a rising senior at Howard University with a major in Psychology and a minor in legal & Strategic Communications, with intentions of pursuing my Juris Doctor Degree. I came into my sophomore year as an independent student and homeless youth. My father has been absent in my life for some years now due to his incarceration and my mother is estranged. Because of this, I had no one to sign my Federal Student Aid Application (FAFSA) which results in my financial aid being tied up every semester. While I do receive two scholarships and a federal pell grant, I found myself still having to take out two loans in order to assist in covering a portion of my balance. Even with all that, the Howard University's continuous rising tuition leaves me in an unfortunate situation. I need to pay the remainder of my balance in order to not only register for classes, but also to even be considered for housing for the upcoming year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
