My name is Jaquan, and I’m a father of three boys with a dream to open my own restaurant. My passion is cooking Jamaican food and soul food, and I hope to eventually share dishes from all cultures with my community. My youngest son is autistic
and has unique dietary needs, which makes the cost of living even higher for us. I want to create a place that not only supports my family but also brings people together through good food and a welcoming atmosphere.
Life hasn’t always been easy. I’m an ex-drug felon who spent time in prison, but I’ve worked hard to change my life and create new opportunities for myself and my boys. Not being able to find steady work has been tough, but I’ve been hustling every day to make ends meet and keep my family going. I’m raising money to secure a storefront for my restaurant, cover bills, and provide for my children’s needs, especially my youngest son’s unique dietary requirements. Every bit of help brings me closer to providing stability and hope for my family.
I’m deeply grateful for any support you can offer. Your kindness will make a real difference in our lives and help me show my boys that with hard work and community support, anything is possible. Thank you for believing in us and helping us move forward.
