January is a California indigenous, queer community organizer in desperate need of funds to continue to pay rent! January is in a considerable amount of credit card and student loan debt, and they recently lost their job to workplace discrimination regarding their trans identity. They are rapidly searching for new employment, but have nothing left as a financial safety net and are seeking community support. They are a distroist, working consistently to help the broader queer and housing-insecure communities in Oakland and Santa Cruz, as well as being a founding member of Shakesqueer at SubRosa, and an avid advocate for continued public resistance to the ICE presence in California, going out every week to hand out legal and community resources to community members. Please consider helping them to pay rent until they can get a new (hopefully not transphobic) job!
