After working so hard to get life back on track, things took a sudden and heartbreaking turn. I’m a single mom to two beautiful girls, and recently, I was in a terrible car accident that left my car completely totaled. I had only had the car for 6 months, after going without one for a long time. It was a lifeline for our family—getting to work, school, and just keeping things moving.

This accident has shaken me to my core. I’m beyond grateful to still be here and to hold my children tight every day. But while I'm thankful to be alive, the financial impact has been devastating. I live paycheck to paycheck, and this unexpected event has left us in an incredibly tough position.

Like many, I’ve had my share of struggles. I’ve always tried to give back and lend a helping hand when I could, even when I didn’t have much. Now I find myself needing to ask for help—a position I never imagined being in.
