On 8/15 Janna started feeling fatigued and in the following days she began to feel more sick. On 8/18 she tested positive for Covid-19.
She started resting and doing everything that was recommended to her to keep her in good health and hopefully lesson her symptoms. Her symptoms continued to get worse making it hard for her to even sleep due to the intense body aches. With no improvement and now having a hard time breathing Janna was sent to the Emergency department at Rogue Regional Medical Center.
On 8/24 Janna was admitted to the hospital with double COVID pneumonia and placed on high flow O2 because her lungs were failing. Rogue Regency made the decision to transfer her to Asante Ashland Community Hospital that same day.
Jannas first night in the hospital was rough and scary. Her oxygen levels were dangerously low and they were preparing to put her on a ventilator if there was no improvement. By the grace of God, Prayers and the amazing medical staff treating Janna she began to show improvement and being placed on a ventilator was not needed. She is still currently being treated in the ICU and receiving oxygen. Janna is continuing to show improvement, But is looking at a possible 2 weeks or longer stay in the hospital, and an unknown amount of time spent healing at home.
Everyone who knows Janna knows that she has always been a hard worker. She has now been out of work for almost 2 weeks and isn’t sure when she will be able to return to work. Due to the whole household falling sick even after quarantine efforts I have also been off work and not sure when I’ll be able to return.
Janna has a huge heart, has always been willing to help those in need without any judgement. My goal and hope is that we can take some financial burden off of Janna and our family so she can recover without the financial stress and worry. We want her focusing on her health so she can make a complete recovery and come home to her family.
Please continue to keep Janna and our family in your prayers. We greatly appreciate it.
