Hello everyone,

My name is Janlisa Harlins and I am from Anaheim California. I’m reaching out for help due to an unexpected situation caused by Hurricane Melissa here in Jamaica. I was scheduled to return home on Sunday, but due to the storm’s impact, my travel plans were disrupted and I’ve been unable to leave.

Currently, I’m staying at the Grand Palladium Jamaica Hotel, which has continued to charge a substantial daily rate despite these uncontrollable and unforeseen circumstances. I’ve been using my own financial resources to cover costs for food and lodging, but those funds are quickly running out.

This has been a stressful and emotional experience, and while I’m grateful to be safe, I need help to cover the remaining hotel expenses and make travel arrangements to safely return home as soon as possible.
