Hi everyone! My name is JaNiyah, and I’m a high school sophomore who has been given an incredible opportunity to attend the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) again this summer. I had the privilege of participating in the program last year, and the experience truly changed my life. I grew academically, built confidence, and connected with students from around the world. Now, I’ve been given the chance to return and continue developing my leadership and academic skills, this time at Oxford University in the UK!

I hope to become a veterinarian one day, and programs like NSLC help me build the discipline, global perspective, and leadership skills needed to achieve that dream. Studying at Oxford allows me to challenge myself academically and take meaningful steps toward my future career, helping animals and serving my community.
