Hey Open Door family, Janie has run into some financial obstacles since Jim passed away. Jim and Janie have always been there for so many of us, especially us teens in the 70’s, offering guidance, love, and support when we needed it most. Their kindness and generosity touched countless lives, and I know many of us are forever grateful for the sacrifices they made and the love they shared. I can never thank them enough for leading me to Jesus and for the positive impact they had on my life and the lives of so many others.

Now, as Janie faces this difficult time, I want to give back in a way that truly honors Jim’s memory. I am putting this GoFundMe together to help pay for Jim's tombstone, which will be placed at the foot of the cross at Open Door Baptist Church, just off Interstate 81 in Clear Brook, VA. It feels so fitting that Brother Jim will be remembered in such a meaningful place, surrounded by the community he loved and served. How great is our God for orchestrating this special resting place for him.
