My name is Desirae Teske, and February 1, my mother’s house caught fire In Yalobusha County. Thankfully, she was not there, and there were no injuries to my brother who was there. It is looking to be a total loss, and we are trying to help her the best we can, but it takes a community. Not only are we all dealing with Winter Storm Fern, the inevitable has happened.

My sisters and I have put together this GoFundMe to help her. She is 67 years old and disabled, so she is not able to just recover on her own from this. My mom is such a strong woman and has taken care of many people in her life, and this is our chance to give back to her while she desperately needs it. She has lived in this house in Water Valley,Ms for 34 years and everything she has ever owned is gone.. Please, if you can, donate, like, or share to help her as quickly as we can to get her back on her feet.

We plan on using all of the money donated to help her buy a new home, furniture and essentials.
