Janice is creating this fundraiser for their 27-year-old brother, who passed away on Monday. He spent his life serving others in every way he could, including in the Air Force, in EMT/EMS, as a volunteer firefighter, and he was soon to join FDNY. His loss is heartbreaking for the entire family, and they are now facing the painful reality of making funeral arrangements while grieving someone who gave so much to so many.

Although the VA will cover his burial, the funeral and related expenses are not covered. Any other funds or benefits connected to his passing are expected to take time to become available, and the family cannot wait to receive them in order to move forward with the arrangements that need to be made now.
