Gil has always been my rock—he’s the second oldest of 10 siblings and comes from a family rooted in love and faith. He’s worked for the same company for nearly 30 years, and he deserves to retire and enjoy the life he’s worked so hard for. Instead, he’s working 60-70 hours a week, caring for me, and managing our home so I can focus on healing. I want to make sure he doesn’t have to carry this financial burden any longer. If I don’t make it through this, I want him to have the retirement he’s earned, not one spent paying off medical bills.
