Hello friends and friends of friends,
My name is Jaclyn and I am fundraising for my beautiful friend Janice who has been on a journey to become a mother since March 2020. We went to nursing school together and have worked together as pediatric nurses for 17yrs. She has cared for 1000’s of families helping to nurse their children back to health- and she decided to take on this adventure herself to make her dream of becoming a mother a reality.
This roller-coaster of a ride has consisted of countless insemination procedures and a multitude of medications and injections. Earlier this year, Janice was overjoyed when she found out she was pregnant and even more so with twins. This happy news soon turned into a devastating and heartbreaking time…A miscarriage with an emergent surgery that resulted in removal one of her fallopian tubes. Janice being the positive person she is, stayed focused and kept moving forward and chose to start again. "If my miscarriage taught me anything... it's to accept help without shame" - Janice.
At 42, Janice is very appreciative for being able to receive funding for the IVF procedure itself as the age cut off is 43. She has an amazing fertility doctor and great team of nurses that have helped her every step of the way and are ready to help in this next step with IVF.
Like many nurses, she works nearly full time hours and does so without benefits. She has already spent many thousands of dollars on her own since 2020, she is expecting to have another $10-12,000 in medications and other expenses; she needs our support.
Janice would never ask for help but as a mother of 3 who also struggled to get pregnant and knows the emotions around having a miscarriage, I want nothing more for Janice than to become a mother.
I am asking for your help to make her dream come true. Please give what you can, every little bit will help. Much love to all and thank you for your support.
Please share this so it reaches as many friends as possible.
