Hi, my name is Vanessa Garvey and I am trying to help raise money for my Aunt Janice and my cousin Brent in order to defer some of the expenses needed for them to move across the country, from California to New York, following the death of her husband, Clark Bowen.

Janice met Clark while he was in the US Army, based out of Watertown, NY. Clark was a Sergeant in the 11 Bravo Airborne Infantry Division. Clark's love for Janice was at first sight. They were only a few days shy of celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. They have two children, Jacqueline and Brent (who is schizophrenic and autistic) and four grandchildren ranging in age from newborn to twelve. Clark and Janice planned to move back to New York to be a more significant part of their grandchildren's lives. However, Clark's life was sadly interrupted by head, neck, and throat cancer. He fought this difficult battle for a year-and-a-half using every homeopathic, alternative medicine, immunotherapy, and chemotherapies that were made available to him. Unfortunately, the pain and suffering became so over-bearing that he lost his battle on Saturday April 26, 2025 at 11:30pm. Clark most definitely earned his wings to fly, as he was called back home to our Lord and Savior. It is his wife, Janice's wish to honor carrying out their plan to get back home to her family.
