My name is Jani, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a lot of humility. I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help publicly, but I’m facing an emergency that I can’t overcome alone.
Over the past year, I’ve been navigating a difficult divorce, domestic violence–related legal proceedings, and the financial instability that comes with rebuilding life from the ground up. I’m doing everything I can to provide stability for my children — working every hour I can, managing rent, utilities, food, and the mounting legal fees required to protect my kids and secure a safe future for us.
Right now, I’m at risk of being evicted as early as Monday. I need to raise at least $2,000 by Monday to cover rent and prevent my children and me from losing our home. Anything beyond that will go toward essential legal fees that I must keep up with to continue protecting my family.
I’m doing everything in my power to stay afloat, but the financial strain has become overwhelming. I’ve cut every expense I can, picked up extra work, and tried every avenue available to me. I’m simply out of time.
If you’re able to help — whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign — it would mean more than I can express. Your support would give my children and me the chance to stay housed, stay safe, and stay on track as we work toward stability and healing.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us hold onto our home during this incredibly difficult moment.
With gratitude,
Jani
