Help Janet's Family Fulfill Her Wish
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Janet Bowers, taken from us far too soon at just 59 years old. Her sudden departure has left a deep emptiness in our lives — one that can never truly be filled — a reminder of the remarkable light she brought into our lives.
Janet was a light in every room she entered — bold, kind-hearted, and unmistakably herself. She had that rare ability to "be at home wherever she was," whether through her infectious laughter, her thoughtful words, or her vibrant spirit. She was compassionate about animals but especially passionate about her three beloved cats; Louie Bean, Baby Bean, and Vivi. Her heart was open, her smile was generous, and her presence made the world feel just a little bit better.
To honor one of Janet’s wishes, our family is looking to lay her to rest beside her mother at Oak Hill Cemetery — a place of significance and peace for Janet and our family. We are humbly looking to raise a portion of the funds needed to get a shared burial site at Oak Hill so they can be laid to rest together.
If you feel moved to support, we are deeply grateful. If you prefer to honor her memory in another way, please consider giving directly to her favorite charities in her name. That, too, would be a beautiful tribute to the life she lived and the love she gave.
