Janet and Levi need urgent help. Kim is raising funds for a dear friend, Janet, and Janet’s beloved dog, Levi, who is facing a serious medical emergency. Janet noticed on Friday that Levi was not feeling well, and his condition quickly became more alarming. Levi has been unable to go to the bathroom and has been clearly miserable. Because Janet lives on an island in Washington State with no nearby emergency vet, she had to get Levi to her regular veterinarian as soon as possible. There, Levi was diagnosed with a possible obstruction and told he will need surgery. On top of that, the vet believes Levi may be septic, which makes this situation even more urgent and frightening.

Janet is devastated. She has other dogs, but Levi is especially bonded to Janet and she is truly his person. Anyone who knows them can see how deep that connection is. The funds from this fundraiser will be used exclusively for Levi’s surgery, veterinary care, and Janet’s transportation costs to and from the vet, which are about $80 each round trip.
