Dear Friends and Family, 
      As many of you are aware, our dear friend, Janet McDonald is battling cancer.  Janet went in for a routine colonoscopy in mid August when a mass was discovered.  It was originally thought to be colon cancer, but turned out to be stage 4 ovarian cancer which had jumped to the colon and lymph nodes.  The impact of the diagnosis is extensive. Janet has completed 7 weeks of chemo. The total length of treatment is expected to be close to a year thus taking Janet away from the flight attendant job she loves. The out of pocket costs for this year alone are monumental and another surgery is scheduled in mid December. On January 1st, the out of pocket costs will start all over again. Janet is a single mom with only her income to rely on.  We ask that you help in any way you can.  No amount is too small and appreciated so very much. We are hoping this fund will alleviate any stress or anxiety that a  financial burden of this magnitude can cause. Janet just needs to focus on staying strong and getting through the next year.
