Help Janet Foltz Fight Metastatic Breast Cancer

CANCER DRUG DONATIONS URGENTLY NEEDED

I would like to ask for your help to possibly have more time with my loved ones and friends. Help tell metastatic breast cancer it’s not going to win yet !!!!

I am Janet Foltz, 62 years old and married to Craig Foltz for 35 years. I have three wonderful adult children, their spouses and 2 sweet grandchildren (ages 6 & 8). I’m a breast cancer survivor of 15 years, but caner is not done with me. I was diagnosed July 2022 with metastatic breast cancer. Initially spread to my multiple vertebrae, ribs, shoulders, then later to the liver. I quickly went through drugs known to give you 3-5 years each (for some even more), but were short lived for me as the cancer continues to mutate. Unfortunately, it has now crossed the blood barrier to my spinal cord and brain.

The cancer drug, TRODELVY® (sacituzumab govitecan-hziy)l, has been identified by my oncologist and by consult with Johns Hopkins oncologists as the best option to slow down the cancer advance in the brain. Up to this point, our employer provided insurance has covered drug costs inconjuction with the assistance from the pharmaceutical companies. Unfortunately, this drug has been excluded from the insurance formulary by the employer for premium cost savings to their employees. When this happens, the insurance will not cover the drug and the pharmaceutical company of this drug is not willing to pay all or any of the cost. The pharmaceutical company would only cover if insurance company did not offer in their formulary, but not for employer exclusions. I need your donations to self-pay for the drug or purchase additional insurance through the market place that will cover TRODELVY® , then the pharmaceutical company will be willing to help.

All funds would be used towards purchase of TRODELVY® (sacituzumab govitecan-hziy)l $15,000 per treatment or additional insurance coverage through the market place, whichever is more equitable. If a new drug becomes available not covered by insurance and pharmaceutical assistance, then funds will be used. Any remaining funds after treatments have been exhausted will be utilized to pay outstanding medical bills for cancer treatments and testing currently $4,500), then funeral expenses $3,500. All remaining funds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen a 501 (c ) (3) non-profit organization EIN 75-1835298. All funds will only be used for the benefit of Janet L Foltz and metastatic cancer treatments or as detailed above. Funds will be held in a separate account and under control of Janet L Foltz and / or appointed Medical and Financial Powers of Attorney.
