Help Janet build a new home!

Hi, my name is Jackie Miller and I am trying to raise money for my dear friend, my co worker, my family Janet McSorley-Gogolin. I met Janet and her husband Troy 15 years ago when I moved two doors down from them in South Lyon, I was recently divorced and a single mother, not knowing anyone in the area they quickly became my family and watched out for me, helping me in anyway they could, fast  forward to 2009 Troy was rushed to the hospital with a double brain aneurysm, he was a walking miracle and survived the surgery but left them with a ton of medical bills, fast forward again to late 2019 Troy started feeling ill and was diagnosed with cancer in July of 2020, he passed away on September 3rd, about 6weeks later, none of us expected it so fast, it was shocking, and because of Covid there was no funeral , Janet was then left financially destitute. Earlier this year tragedy hit again, her youngest son was diagnosed with cancer and she went through his journey with him, as a mother myself I can’t even imagine going through this,  but never complaining or ever thinking of herself, she took him to all of his appointments , sat by his side never wavered from the task at hand, this is what kind of person she is, always doing for others, she is someone whom  I aspire to be like everyday! On December 10 & 11 we had terrible storms and winds though out Michigan and unfortunately a tree fell through Janet’s home, pretty much destroying it, with no home insurance she now has no where to call her own! I’m asking you all to dig deep and help my friend rebuild her home and her life, no one should have to go through what she has been through, especially during the Holidays, but she did and she still has a great attitude and is still smiling. I do know one thing for certain, she would do the same for you!!! No amount is too small please give, Let’s come together as a community and help our neighbor, our sister my friend!please share this and let’s try and make this a very merry Xmas wish come true ❤️✌️
