Help Jane's brother, John Austin!

I'm reaching out to you for help. I received a terrifying phone call that my sweet younger brother was in an awful freak accident. The incident occurred at his home where he was pinned and nearly crushed between a truck bumper and the AC unit outside. He was pushed 4 to 5 feet between the truck and the AC unit before the house stopped the truck from moving. He suffered a punctured lung, a nearly severed left arm, massive lacerations in his forehead, foot and other parts of the body. He broke 7 ribs in 14 places. He has 40 internal stitches and 63 external stitches. He has a 14 inch incision on his back from surgery. His tendons were cut in his right arm.  He now has titanium plates and screws holding his ribs in place.

 

John is an owner/operator of a Bobcat tractor service and a demolition master. This accident has caused John to not be able to work at his normal pace, severely compromising his finances.

 

With the love and support of family and his lovely wife, Erin, he is in excellent care at home but in a lot of pain. His attitude is positive as it always has been (that's John Austin!), but this accident has caused so much financial and emotional loss and trauma.

 

I am asking for your support on behalf of the sweetest man I've ever known. We are all grateful he survived. It was a narrow escape, but he is strong and will overcome. However, if we can all pitch in, we will be able to give him a sense of security while he heals.
