Help Janelle and Andrew Recover After Losing Everything in a Devastating Fire

On May 1, our dear friend Janelle Forney and her boyfriend Andrew experienced the unthinkable—her apartment was destroyed in a fire, and she lost nearly everything she owned, including her beloved cats, who were family to her. Janelle and her boyfriend Andrew were not home and are safe.

She currently only has her car and the clothes on her back. Right now, she’s receiving temporary shelter through the Red Cross, but the road ahead is long, and she needs our help to begin rebuilding her life.

We’re raising funds to help Janelle with:

* Immediate essentials (clothes, toiletries, food)

* Pet cremation

* Temporary housing beyond tonight

* Replacing basic belongings and household items

* Emotional healing and time to recover
