My name is Janeida Rivera and I am a proud educator, community organizer, mental health advocate, orator and poet, cat mom, protective older sister, and fierce lover of my friends, family, motherland, and today, myself.

After a year of unemployment, I now work 2 jobs, one in the service industry, and the other in office administration at a law firm. Unfortunately, I have had several issues with my vehicle in the past 3 months resulting in the seizure of my vehicle. In order to retrieve my car, I have 20 days to raise an additional $2k or I lose it forever.

If you have the capacity to share a monetary offering that will go towards paying to release my car, it is my only means of transportation between jobs and my side gig of driving Lyft, I would be very grateful. No donation is too small.
