Help Janeen's family while she is on life support

Update on our Janeen:

Unfortunately, after 12 days on life support, Janeen passed away this evening. She fought incredibly hard and she will be missed by all of us so much. She was beautiful inside and out, hilarious and caring beyond measure. She lived for her daughter, Crystal and her grandbabies. 

There will be more details to come on a Celebration of Life for Janeen; all who loved her are welcome. We want to celebrate her and the incredible person she was. 

Again I want to thank everyone for their support, prayers and generosity these past two weeks. We honestly cannot thank you enough. Any donations made now and in the future will go towards her services.  

My name is Ray and I've started this GoFundMe page to help two of my favorite people, Crystal and her Mother, Janeen.

As most of you know, Janeen was admitted to the hospital with COVID-19 and is currently on life support. She has bilateral pneumonia, is being nourished through a feeding tube, on ECMO, and on a ventilator. Although her prognosis is uncertain, we remain hopeful that she will pull through this. She is a beautiful friend, mom, grandmother, and daughter. She is truly an amazing person.

Right now, her main support system is her daughter, Crystal. Crystal is a single mom of two boys and works two jobs to support them; however, given the current situation, she is missing extra work (without vacation time/pay), and has extra expenses because of this unfortunate situation. Crystal is also still recovering from a COVID diagnosis herself. Before Janeen was diagnosed with COVID, she was served a notice that she needed to vacate her house within 30 days (owner needs to move back into the house). Her plan was to move in with Crystal temporarily until she found another place. That 30 day mark is approaching fast and Crystal is trying desperately to finish packing her mom’s house, book a moving truck, and trying to work and provide for her own family, while still trying to regain her own strength after battling COVID. She is also trying to handle her mom’s finances, such as maintaining her current bills, all while having no access to Janeen’s funds. Unfortunately, Janeen is unable to communicate anything to anyone, such as bank access, bills that need to be paid, etc. We are hoping and praying that Janeen pulls through this, and when she does, she will still have some recovering at home to do and won’t be able to work right away, which will create a further strain on finances (not even including the mountain of medical debt she will have accrued).

We are asking, if anyone can please donate anything, our family would be extremely grateful. No amount is too little. Every single dollar counts and is appreciated at this difficult time. This mother and daughter rely on eachother for support and now they need our help. I know the pandemic has made things difficult for many of you, so if you can’t make a financial contribution, that is completely o.k. Please keep in mind, there are other ways you can help.
