Hi- my name is Jane. I'm a young intersex woman in the Twin Cities.

To keep it short and sweet- I'm a shoe-in to get SMRT'd (just need to wait for processing,) and hear back about my SSI case within the next month. I start college in January at a nearby program, and will be solid financially when I start getting loans. I already receive General Assistance through the state.

My problem is that I'm limited in the part-time work I can get with my health and mobility issues, and lack transportation- so I've been unable to get any additional income. I've tried pet sitting and have found no real clients. My case workers and VRS workers are out of suggestions. I recognize this is frustrating, but I hope I've demonstrated why I'm so vulnerable, and why I come back seemingly every few months asking for help. I'm doing all the right things to become independent.

I'm asking for $520 to cover my rent through January, my credit card, phone bills, hair trim, metro transit for my Metro mobility and bus rides, and a humidifier for my bedroom so I can breathe easier.
