Help Jane Lytvynenko's Family

Donation protected
My name is Jane Lytvynenko, and currently, I'm studying at VIU and playing for VIU Mariners women's volleyball team; I have been a student in Canada since 2017. Over five years, I've met many people within Canada and have a lot of Canadian friends. I feel blessed to live here today, but I'm in the position that forces me to reach out to anyone I know for help.

My homeland suffers from a brutal war started by the Russian Federation on February 24th of, 2022. This war has affected all Ukrainians, including my family, and they are currently in danger on the territory of Ukraine.

My sister Victoria managed to leave her hometown Kharkiv with two little kids (1.5 y.o. and 9 y.o.) right after the first Russian air forces attack. Just recently, Victoria and her two kids crossed the border to Helsinki, Finland. She has nothing but her and her children's documents. Polish volunteers and friends from Finland fed them and are providing them with temporary accommodations. She is safe with kids now, but all other family members stayed in Ukraine, including her husband.

Victoria, with kids, needs financial support as she is alone without money in a foreign country. So this fundraiser is to help my sister to survive until they can get here. The money would go on food, clothes, necessities and tickets to Canada as they have applied for a Canadian visa on Sunday. I'm reaching out to everyone I know. Please help my family to get through such a dark time. If we collect more than we need, the rest of the money will go on the humanitarian needs of people in need in Ukraine. Thank you.
