Hi, my name is Jane Grace, and I’m reaching out for help during a really difficult stretch.

Over the past year, I’ve had several unexpected financial challenges all stack up at once. I had a sudden change in my living situation, my old car completely died and had to be replaced, and I’ve had multiple doctor visits for a throat condition. I’ve been doing my best to stay afloat, but it’s been hard to catch back up.

Now my current car’s clutch has gone out. My car is essential for getting to work, appointments, and daily life, and being without it creates real hardship.

I’ve set a goal of $1,500 to help cover the repair, taxes and fees, and any related transportation costs while the car is being fixed.

I wanted to share an update and be transparent with everyone who has so generously helped me.

I was able to get my car back after the clutch repair, and I cannot express how grateful I am — that alone would not have been possible without your support. Unfortunately, after driving it, I was told that the transmission synchronizers also need to be replaced, which is another major repair and is estimated to be around $1,000.

This was unexpected and honestly really discouraging after everything that’s happened this past year, but I wanted to be upfront with everyone about where things stand. Any funds raised beyond the original repair are now going directly toward this additional work so I can keep my car safely on the road.
