Help JaNaye Heal: Donate for Her Recovery

Hi. I’m JaNaye’s son, Austin. This past weekend, I was contacted with the terrifying news by emergency medical services that my mom was in critical condition due to the valve in her heart that prevents blood from going back into her lungs had failed. Her lungs began to fill with blood, and she was rushed into emergency open heart surgery to repair the valve. She is currently in stable condition and is currently being evaluated in the ICU. Her condition is improving, and we are hopeful.

Her recovery is going to be lengthy as she regains independence, and in the meantime, will be living with friends once discharged from the hospital. She won’t be cleared to drive, live on her own, or work for a minimum of 4-6 weeks while she gains back her strength and independence. We are asking our friends and family to donate any amount they can to help with her expenses such as medical, car, food, miscellaneous items, and rent until she is healthy enough to get back to work and on her own. She has always given so much to her friends, her community, and family, and now she needs us more than ever.
