Hello, my name is Marcus Gaspard. I am raising money for Janayah’s recovery process, and medical billing. This past week Janayah has suffered through an extremely rough patch. On Monday, me and Janayah went to the Emergency Room because she was having a sharp pain in her chest (which she had not experienced before, and came unexpectedly). In the Emergency Room at Bay-health hospital the doctors did a cat scan on Janayah’s chest and discovered that she had a huge mass in her chest, and blood clots in her lungs. The doctors at Bay-health believed that they would have time to plan a biopsy procedure, so they waited until Wednesday to start their operation. By the time Wednesday came, and the doctors were getting ready to perform the operation they realized that her oxygen levels where low. Since the Bay-Health Hospital was not equipped for dealing with her illness the doctors thought it was best to transport Janayah to John’s Hopkins Medical Hospital. When Janayah arrived to John’s Hopkins Hospital her oxygen levels were dropping drastically! The mass was so large that it began to compress on the arteries surrounding her heart and lungs. The doctors at John Hopkins Hospital took her to the ICU because she began to turn blue. In the ICU doctors decided that they needed to do a rushed procedure or else she was not going to make it through the night. During this procedure Janayah has to be put on life support and put into a induced coma so her body could recover from the traumatic surgery. She made it through the procedure and woke up early Friday morning. She is now healthy and is now in the recovery process. She will not be able to work for a while and will have various medical bills, any amount of money that could be given will be helpful! Thank you !
