Hi, my name is Janaia Im a single mom of two. Unfortunately yesterday, our home was completely destroyed in a fire caused by ongoing electrical issues in the building. I reached out to my property manager multiple times about the problems, but nothing ever changed — and now my children and I have lost everything.

We’re thankful to be alive, but all of our belongings, clothes, furniture, and my kids’ school items are gone. Right now, we’re just trying to find a safe place to stay, replace the essentials, and start rebuilding our lives from scratch.
