I'm raising funds for Jana Hazem (17 years old) and her six family members; Her three brothers, Mohammad (23yo), Bara (22 yo), and Hamza (19 yo), as well as her little sister Lana (11 yo), and her parents Moaz (44 yo) and Sawsan (43). Jana has reached out to me through instagram and explained her situation and how her and her family desperately need help. The situation in Gaza is dire and only growing more dangerous every day. As you can imagine, in constant bombardment it is impossible to work or make any money, and the price for all necessities has inflated ridiculously. Not to mention the cost of crossing the Rafah border is about $5,000 per person. The funds from this GoFundMe will be used to help Jana's family leave Gaza and rebuild their lives after they are safe.

Hello, I am Jana from Gaza. We live in Gaza in a very difficult and horrific situation. I am of a family of 6 people whose ages range from (44, 43, 23, 22, 19, 17, 11).

My mother suffers from chronic diseases, diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart problems. Her medication is not available in gaza and her condition is getting worse without the appropriate medication and treatment.

I am a student in the eleventh grade. I have dreams, but with the occupation, it destroyed our school. My ambition was to become a skilled engineer.

My brother graduated from the College of Engineering. He and my father cannot work, everything was destroyed. We have lost our source of income to support my family.

My brothers and I lost our dreams and our future and we are displaced. We do not know our future and our hopes that we left in front of us in the hope that they will remain alive. Please save my family and save our dreams.

We have been displaced twice from our homes against our will and we left everything out of fear. We left under the bombing. We left with nothing and it is very hard to find food and clean water. We only have bare bread.

We were displaced to Khan Yunis and lived in the most difficult conditions. Then, against our will, we went out under the bombardment again and fled to the city of Rafah, and currently we live in a small nylon tent that is not able to protect us from cold and rain.

We are unable to adapt to it and it does not protect us from the unpredictable weather.
