Help Jan Drum in Her Fight for Life

Hello everyone,

My name is Angie Jens and I’m a neighbor and friend of Jan Drum. This fundraiser has been created to support Jan and Jeremiah Drum.

I’m writing to ask for your help for Jan Drum.

I have known Jan for over 20 years. Jan is the most amazing friend, genuine, honest, no filter, hardworking German and kick ass woman I know. If you know her you would say the same. She loves: Her husband, family (AL), friends, Pontoon life on the lake, riding the bike and is a loving dog mom. Jan has been employed with Albrecht’s Sentry for almost 25 years. Truly a company she values for being with them this long. They treat her well. Jan was looking to retire in the near future and spend some well-deserved time with family and friends. Jan was having some neck pain and didn’t think anything of it. Shortly after that (2 weeks) came some odd loss of feeling in her left hand. She couldn’t pick things up or even braid her hair. She even cut her hair ☹ This was the RED FLAG that something wasn’t right. Jan was in between doctors. Her first appointment was in September, and she needed a referral. She was thankful to have her chiropractor have an order done. Jan did the MRI order and was hopeful that she would finally get seen by a doctor and get some answers. She was asked to come into the hospital right away after the MRI was reviewed. It was then she was told the bad news…she has cancerous tumors and swelling in her brain and to add anymore to that she has spots on her lung- more cancer. Early diagnosis they say she has a year to live, without knowing much more for being too early. Is also not known what doctors she needs to see, what procedures are needed or could be done, what medications and what care she may need is all new and unknown at this time. With this difficult road ahead, your generosity can help Jan in her fight. Please consider contributing if you are able. I would like for the Drum’s not have to stress anymore about where the money is coming from to help Jan with her needs now.
