Help JanCarlos and his daughter

Dear friends,
Our dear friend Jan Carlos Quezada, who has worked in our building for a long time, has been going through a difficult time for the last few years. His beautiful daughter got diagnosed with a treatable but long term serious illness. The family has done an incredible job taking care of her while taking care of their other 2 children and while working at very demanding jobs. Jan Carlos is one of the nicest and most hardworking people that I have ever known and his patience and kindness are infinite. He treats and takes care of everyone in the building like his own family.
While Jan Carlos has a great job with great benefits, the reality of going through such a treatment, which entails multiple steps and medications, is that it is impossible to catch up with the costs of the treatments, no matter how much you budget and sacrifice financially. Many of his daughter’s important life saving treatments are with out of network doctors and that means many large out of pocket costs for the family. By talking to him frequently and understanding his situation in more depth, I got the idea to try and help him somehow so that at least he has a cushion and doesn’t have to worry so much over money, and focus more on taking care of his daughter. He has been so positive and so strong, I cannot help but admire him and get inspired by him. While his daughter is incredibly strong and keeps fighting every day bravely, she has to fight for a little bit longer.
I kindly ask that you consider donating, any amount that you can, for this critical cause. I think any donation will go a long way in helping his family keep fighting and keep a smile on their daughter’s face.
