Help Jan and Family Overcome Financial Struggles

Tax deductible
Hi, my name is Charles and my wife's name is Jan. We have been married for 34 years as of November 3rd of this year. Jan is profoundly deaf. I went through insurance and was able to get cochlear implants approved, with the doctor's help. It only took a year to get that done. I'm a very patient person, especially with Jan, who needs my help daily to get through the most mundane tasks, such as calling for a prescription and not being able to hear the beep prompts to get to the pharmacist or to put in just a number. Employers think that just by calling her name from the other side of the store is enough to get her attention and then yell at her and berate her because she can't hear like all other people. This has been the most frustrating problem we've had over the last 30 years. I have my moments too when things get bad and she can't hear me, but I have to come to my senses really quick and just slow down. Jan always will and has been the love of my life. You just know, and especially after 34 years, I still feel the same way.

Jan also blessed me with a son. He was born 2 lb 14 oz, and they didn't expect him to survive, but survive he did, and now he is 32.

I got very sick in 2020, at the end of January, and have not been able to work since then. I still have insurance because I'm 65, but it doesn't help to have to pay $41 to go see a specialist when I need to see three or four doctors a month, which I can't do anymore because prices have gone up so much that my disability now barely pays anything.

I am on disability, my son is also on disability, but we just keep running out of money at the end of the month, and now it's getting so bad where we can't even have groceries, and food stamps are almost non-existent.

I've always done everything on my own, but at this point, with everybody being on disability, that only goes so far, and my electric bill has gone up from $250 to $450 in the last few months. Along with groceries going up, we are needing help desperately. if we donot get a little help we could loose our home too! God bless you all.
