Help Jami’s Chances of Having Kids After Chemo
Jami is a fourth year veterinary student, about to graduate in May 2021 with her degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She is only 26 years old and lives an insanely healthy lifestyle, but has recently been diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. Her treatment will include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.
Due to the extent of treatment, her oncologist is not sure if after treatment she will be able to have children naturally. Her doctors are having her reach out to fertility clinics across Tennessee to get her eggs frozen, which is unfortunately not covered by any insurance. Estimates for this have been $8000+ in addition to annual storage fees.
Because Jami’s treatment is likely to begin within the next couple of weeks, it is important that she freezes her eggs prior to treatment. Please help us reach our goal so that she can begin the process as quickly as possible.
Jami and her family are so appreciative of all the love and support she has been receiving.
Please share the link to this page so that we can reach our goal quickly! ❤️
Thank you,
Andrea, Jami, and the Van Hemel Family
