Jamire Casteel is a 17-year-old inspiring youth with a deep passion for singing, and he is the grandson of Honda Smith. Living in an urban community where violence and drugs are a daily reality, Jamire has always chosen to focus on his dreams and work hard to pursue his talent in the performance arts. He’s dedicated countless hours to his craft, and his commitment has led to an incredible opportunity: Jamire has been selected to participate in the Paris Performance Experience.

This two-week program in France is designed for young artists who wouldn’t otherwise have the chance to study and perform internationally. Led by Dr. Tiffany Jackson, a renowned opera singer, Jamire will be able to learn from distinguished professionals and perform on a global stage. It’s a rare chance for him to grow as an artist, connect with mentors, and experience a world beyond his neighborhood.
